We make our carriers with 2” nylon webbing which is crisscrossed along the bottom, making them extremely strong. The round carrier features a flap that extends from the tail end of the main body area that is used to secure the animal lengthwise across the top of the carapace as well as 2” nylon straps on the left and right sides for additional security. The handles are covered with a reinforced tubing which provides increased comfort while carrying a turtle. There is a layer of 1/4" closed cell foam sandwiched between 2 layers of a vinyl encapsulated polyester material for padding. They are sewn using a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) thread that has a tremendous longevity.

Overlapping restraint flaps (approximately 10" of expansion with a Velcro closure) are available as an add on as well as a removable microfiber collar. We also offer them with removable fiberglass battens in the bottom to provide additional support when needed to maintain a flatter carrying surface.
